In this tutorial we will learn How to add chatbox in prestashop. The users and visitors of prestashop loves the chat tool because it is the easiest way to discuss the problem with website admin.
Chat Box Plugin
- For installing the plugin go to here: https://www.clickdesk.com/prestashop-live-chat and download it
- Login to your website back-end & go to modules tab
- Click on add new module and upload the zip file of clickdesk
- Search the ClickDesk in modules list and install
- After the module installed, you can find the ‘configure’ option.
- Here you can see the code of plugin and paste it before < /body > tag
Chat Box Setup
First go to this website https://www.clickdesk.com/
- Login with your account if you don’t have any account then create new one by click on sign up button
- Give the name, id and password
- Click on checkbox and click on sign up button
- Skip the page and move on Dashboard. This is the limited virsion if you want full control the upgrade the account
- The first thing you need is creating agent
- Go to agent tab which is located at left sidebar
- Click on Add agent upper right corner of the page
- Give the detail of agent and press save button you can also change the avatar picture
- Click on sign in button for agent and now you are in Agent Portel
- To see the customers sms go to Agent Portal Button
